Laura Klement
Builder, Rater & Trainer
While growing up on a farm, Laura enjoyed building forts and k’nex creations as well as wood structures in shop class. She continued exploration of the built environment through a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture with a focus on sustainable home design. Laura's experience includes design, carpentry, natural building, building education, solar installations and residential energy efficiency consulting. She designed and built an energy efficient tiny home on wheels, a zero energy off grid home and is currently building a high performance ADU. Laura brings her knowledge, curiosity and energy to fuel the work of Enerstructa. She is an Oregon Residential General Contractor, Sustainable Homes Professional, RESNET HERS Rater and BPI Building Analyst Professional and Technician. Laura also enjoys spending time with her cats and exploring the outdoors.
